Spring 2017 issue (Vol.30, No.3) of “String Along,” an official journal of the Los Angeles Section of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA), published Marek’s article about his teaching philosophy: how to nurture the love for music among students.

“To help [students] gain perseverance and build character, igniting and fostering their love for music should come first. And that is why I believe a nurturing environment, where students can feel safe to express themselves through music, is essential.”
